Education Apostolate

God’s love shared through Education Apostolate

We see in the book of wisdom 7:10, “I loved her more than health and beauty and I chose to have her rather than light, because her radiance never ceased”. In Mt 5:13-14, Jesus says –“You are the salt of the earth”; again we see, saying “you are the light of the world.”

When we come to our beloved founder, he explains- “By establishing schools for girls you can renew and improve families, territories and nations and draw them closer to God most effectively.” In accordance with our founder’s vision, joining in the apostolic activities of the church, we impart the education with spiritual values along with the academic lessons to mould the young generation into good citizens of the Kingdom of God. Hence forth our sisters learn from Jesus Christ, the greatest teacher, the art of teaching and the sense of commitment.

Education apostolate is one of the main apostolic fields of our Congregation. Living the spirit and charism of our Congregation sisters are rendering their services in to two categories - i.e.

1) Our own management
2) In collaboration with other dioceses and some of the Men – religious congregations.

By imparting the moral science for non Christians and catechism for Christian students, sisters are involved very actively in the mission. In all our schools we conduct prayer service for the Christian and Catholic students. We run two Pre-Primary schools in the villages of Risda in Chhattisgarh and Ghoradongri in Nagpur. These schools are mainly for the development of the village children there. A good number of children are benefitted.

Apostolic School in Panna

Our province is running an apostolic school especially for Christian girls who have got the interest in religious life and in our congregation at Panna. Around 10 girls are getting education over there. The aim of this apostolic school is to promote good vocation. 6 to 8 girls are getting benefits from this mission every year. One of our children from this apostolic school is a postulant now, two are in Aspirancy (students) and three are in Pre-aspirancy.
